Due to growth, my client is seeking an experienced individual with a passion for sales to join their specialist Motor Trade Insurance Broking department.

Working in a fast-paced, proactive team environment you will be responsible for taking calls, quoting, underwriting and converting sales for Road Risk insurance policies for sole proprietor and small limited clients. Due to a fantastic product and our client being a market-leading brokerage in this sector there will be plenty of calls and leads for you to convert.

Products include: Premises cover (‘AllRisks’) including own and customers’ vehicles, Employers Liability and Public Liability for the motor trade, including defective workmanship, Business interruption, Engineering inspection, Personal accident insurance

On offer is a competitive salary and OTE structure.

The working hours are 9-5pm Monday to Friday.

Job Title: Assistant Underwriter – Fleet

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000

Location: Redhill, Surrey (Hybrid option available after training period)

With already 14 locations across the UK, this Insurance Company has ambitious plans to expand their South East footprint and are actively looking to hire an Assistant Underwriter for their Redhill branch.

Joining their Motor Fleet division, you will be working closely alongside one of the business’ most Senior Underwriters in ensuring the Fleet book maintains and grows by delivering an efficient case underwriting service to brokers.

You will provide support on renewals and will respond to new business when required, reviewing cases and rating risks.

Our client will be looking to deliver training and ongoing development towards you gaining your own licenses to write business yourself.

Please note that initially during the training period you will be required to work in the office, however, hybrid/office working will be available after this period.

Experience

Must have experience of working in general insurance underwriting or broking

Good technical knowledge of any of the following covers: Fleet, Trade, Commercial Vehicle, Domestic Vehicle, Commercial (Without at least 1 of these your application will not be considered)

If not already Cert CII qualified, you will have the ambitions to study and work towards achieving upon joining

A Commercial Schemes New Business Account Handler is being hired for with one of the UK’s most ambitious and largest Chartered Brokerages who have won an accolade of industry awards throughout the years.

A leading Sussex based Insurance Broker is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join their team in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler of this brokerage, you will inherit your own book of clients to manage. Your role will be managing existing clients, maintaining renewal retention and providing the utmost level of service at all times through demonstrating great organisational skills.

You will be managing cross-class commercial clients, where policies include Packages, Commercial Combined, Motor Traders, Property Owners, Cyber (to name a few). You will handle clients with premiums between £500 – £25,000, although as you increase your knowledge and experience you will deal with larger and more complex clients.

It is preferred that candidates are able to demonstrate a Commercial Insurance background from either a broker or Insurer, although candidates that have dealt with other classes of insurance are encouraged to apply.
