Job: Binding Authority Technician
Location: Ipswich / Hybrid / Fully Remote
My client who are one of the markets leading Lloyd’s Brokers are now looking for a Binding Authority Technician to join their team. This would be attached to their Ipswich office however it can be either hybrid or fully remote. In this role you will be tasked to provide prompt and effective technical admin and processing support directly to clients and your business unit. Some other responsibilities will include: keeping track of impending renewals and providing renewal information to Account Executives in good time to enable terms to be obtained and firm orders placed; liaising with Account Executives to ensure all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of market documentation and that it matches the client/market requirements; accurate and timely production of client documentation; processing, monitoring and updating aggregate numbers and providing relevant commentary on utilisation and monitoring premium against GPI; working with the output of automated processes and being responsible for maintaining accurate data and records within Binder management system; preparing and submitting London Market Insurance documentation including submission of LPANs and supporting documents to Xchanging; performing quality control checks on all documentation.
