Overview

I am extremely excited to be working with a top Lloyd’s syndicate specialising in the property and casualty market. Their focus is specialty insurance, established in 1957 with a track record of growth and profitability which has led them to become a leader in their market.

The role will be to assist the Claims Operations Team with all aspects of the Claims Operations function. The successful candidate will be able to provide a superior level of operations support and ensure the Claims Operations Team are able to deliver an exceptional standard of claims performance and service whilst meeting its regulatory and compliance requirements. They will have proven experience with ECF/IMR systems, a sound understanding of Lloyd’s minimum standards and conduct risk, and demonstrable understanding of claims handling. Any knowledge or experience in using Sequel Claims will certainly be advantageous.

A brief overview of the key accountabilities are shown below:

  • Assist with regular reporting including international claims reporting and reports at month end, production of quarterly board pack for review. Assist the claims team and external departments with ad hoc data requests and analysis
  • Provide cover to the Claims Operations Manager in all aspects of claims month end sign off. Also providing cover to the Claims DA Manager with administrative tasks relating to TPA contracts and audits
  • Assist with managing the outsourcing of claims administrative works to an offshore process provider and regular peer review of their work, escalating any concerns
  • Dealing with any queries in the first instance and identifying and scoping further processes that can be handed over
  • Assist with timely production of all data requests from Lloyd’s.
