Job Title: Commercial Schemes Account Handler

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

Location/Flexibility: Remote (Croydon office)

Pavilion Recruitment is delighted to be hiring a Commercial Schemes Account Handler on a reduced hours, home-working basis, for a specialist and independently owned Insurance Brokerage.

Your role will at the foremost be to ensure high levels of relationships are maintained with policyholders when performing day to day broking such as inviting, rating and processing renewals, quoting on new business enquiries, processing MTA’s and managing insurer relations.

You will work on a specialist scheme for Funeral Directors and will be broking via an internal delegated authority. The policy is Commercial Insurance based to include Commercial Combined and Fleets so experience in these lines is highly advantageous.

The Director of this brokerage is a great leader and has grown this business through passion and is looking for a like-minded, positive individual to join the team. Excitingly, the company is looking to grow and will be considering Senior Handlers and potential Leaders too.

Interviews will look to be held immediately.

Experience Required

  • Candidates must possess experience in broking Commercial Business Insurance policies – either renewals or new business, ideally operating a Scheme however this isn’t essential
  • Acturis systems experience is greatly advantageous however not essential
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills
  • Confidence to work independently as well as within a team cultured environment
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised from home
