One of the UK’s leading, award-winning Schemes Brokerages based in Kent are looking for a friendly and hardworking Account Handler to join their direct retail broking team.

As an Account Handler your main focus will all be about servicing your own renewal book of policies and ensuring that renewals are retained.  You will be working on several types of schemes that this brokerage offer, all of which have an internal delegated authority for you to rate the policy internally, giving you autonomy and exposure to risk assessment and underwriting.

The types of products will be commercial combined and liability led, however this brokerage can cover all lines to include property, fleets, cyber – the list goes on.

The clients will be UK SME businesses which typically pay circa £1,500 – £7,000 in premium.

The Acturis system is used by our client, so if you are an experienced user this will be a major advantage.

 

Experience:

Commercial or Personal Lines broking experience

Acturis trained is an advantage, however not essential as full training will be provided

Strong organisational skills

An aptitude for identifying risk exposures

An interest in internal rating of insurance policies
