Overview

An international insurer and reinsurer working within the Lloyd’s market is looking for a Corporate Accountant. The role itself will be based in the London office with hybrid working (50/50).

The purpose of the role is to support the development and change of finance processes and systems, and ensure corporate accounting is completed accurately and to deadlines.

The role will support the transition of SUN to SAP, whilst supporting the development of systems and processes to comply with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements. This would include being responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to business processes with a focus on reducing processing time and risk of error.

My client is looking for a part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with finance accounting/reporting experience in Insurance.

Desired skills: good understanding of finance processes; process improvement experience; and experience of working with data warehouse and underwriting systems.

It is advantageous to have experience with SUN / Vision XL /SAP.
