Overview

Financial Adviser Bristol

My client is an established local IFA firm helping local retiree clients. They are based in the Bristol area, and they are experiencing fantastic growth.   Their entrepreneurial Director, is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 20 years’ experience, and is currently seeking to take on a full-time financial adviser to work alongside them in servicing the firms ever-growing client bank.

The ideal candidate will be Level 4 qualified with 1 -2 years’ experience minimum experience as a Financial Adviser within a similar size IFA firm. As specialists in later life planning, they are looking for an adviser with a skill set and eventually qualifications required to provide the levels of service their clients expect.

You would be joining a small team, so the role would suit someone who is not averse to working in a small group, and who shares our same values and beliefs with family and community always being at the heart of everything they do.

Experience

Essential:

  • Evidence of commitment to previous employers
  • Previous experience of working in IFA company
  • Detailed knowledge of Investments, tax planning and Defined Contribution pensions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and understanding of cash-flow modelling
  • Experience using Intelliflo database

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is essential

Working towards chartered, LTC qualification and additional later life qualifications are desirable.

 

Salary £35,000 - £45,000
