Financial and Professional Lines Claims Adjuster

I’m excited to be working with my client, a leading legacy business within the market, who are seeking an experienced Professional and Financial Lines Claims Adjuster to join their expanding business.

The portfolio will consist of UK and EU Professional Indemnity, Medmal and Cyber claims emanating from acquired legacy portfolios. Starting at an authority of 250,000 USD with a lot of autonomy given, there will be room to grow and progress further as well as the opportunity to have exposure to other lines of business.

Experience across financial and/or professional lines claims is essential, and understanding of the Lloyd’s Market processes, systems (such as ECF) and contacts is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Handle a portfolio of claims from cradle to grave
• Raise all appropriate queries when required
• Adjust quantum of covered claims
• Negotiate and resolve disputed claims
• Eliminate redundant reserves
• Manage and enhance professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of market issues
