I am excited to be recruiting a newly created FP&A Manager. This is a permanent role in a forward thinking and innovative Lloyd’s Insurance business.

The role will enable you to grow the function in close collaboration with Senior Finance and the wider business.

Overview of the role:

  • Oversight of the Group FP&A function (team of 3) and managing the annual budget exercise and
    other forecasting/regulatory requirements (monthly re-forecasting and long-term plan)
  • A key player in developing P&L and cash flow forecasting accuracy and the Group’s forecasting capabilities
  • Management and development of the FP&A team
  • Appraisal of and embedding a mature planning infrastructure (excel versus planning software)
  • Providing analysis and insight into business performance with KPI and revenue bridge development
  • Project participation (potential M&A) with varying depths of ad-hoc analyses to support decision making
  • Management of debt facilities including covenant reporting/forecasting and interest calculations
  • Development and documentation of internal controls and processes

Person specification

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified
  • Experience of working within the insurance sector (Lloyd’s market is ideal but not essential)
  • Group FP&A experience (+4 years) in an international group would be a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing teams
  • M&A and enterprise /equity valuation exposure is desirable
