Head of HR vacancy available with a Lloyd’s Broker in London.

Pavilion Recruitment are working with a well-known Lloyd’s Broker in London who are looking for a professional individual with previous Insurance market HR experience to join their team.

The Head of HR is responsible for the day-to-day running of the HR team of 5 as well as well as the delivery of effective and efficient HR and Payroll services, providing strategic leadership on all HR matters including resourcing and learning and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the function delivers a full HR service
  • Providing subject matter expertise, data and insights to inform discussions and decisions
  • Escalating people/performance issues and carrying out agreed actions
  • Develop and implement a budgeted business plan for the HR Function annually, with clear objectives and financial targets
  • Contribute to the development of incentive schemes and remuneration policies agreed by the Board
  • Liaise with Board members and division heads to manage and/or support as required, resourcing, onboarding and probation processes and all related administration to fill senior positions
  • Responsible for checking and signing off the monthly payroll in conjunction with Finance, for processing by third party suppliers within agreed deadlines
  • Managing and developing effective relationships with professional advisers, including lawyers and benefits advisers, outsourced payroll system providers, recruitment agencies and pensions trustees.
