A leading Insurance company is looking for an IFRS 17 Reporting Accountant for their London office. As an IFRS 17 Reporting Accountant you will work with the IFRS 17 readiness team who are tasked with delivering IFRS 17. As IFRS 17 then becomes standard, you will move across to the BAU team.
This is a Group Reporting role in which you will:
· Supporting Reporting activities such as drafting proformas for IFRS 17 compliant financial statements and disclosures
· Developing the chart of accounts, mappings, ledger postings and drafting report proformas
· Assist in the build and development of IFRS 17 to GAAP reconciliation processes and templates
· Assist in developing KPI’s and any other financial performance measures including reconciliation to IFRS 17 reporting numbers
My client offers a fully flexible hybrid model that includes paid travel into the office.
Applicants do not need to be IFRS 17 experts as that will be trained but must be Qualified Accountants with an understanding of IFRS Reporting standards.
Candidates will be considered from either Big 4 (must be auditing Insurance clients) OR working as a Financial or Reporting Accountant within the Insurance industry.
