Job Opportunity: Junior Commercial Account Executive

Location: Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £20,000-£30,000 (depending on experience)

The Role: As a Junior Commercial Account Executive, you will be a pivotal asset to our client’s dynamic team. This role will encompass a mix of account handling and business development, offering you the chance to create and nurture a portfolio of your very own clients. Your responsibilities will span across various classes of Commercial policies such as Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Construction, Fleet, Professional Indemnity, and Liability. Additionally, the firm’s versatile approach extends to High Net Worth/Personal Lines and Specialty lines, including Right to Light, Crime Cover, and Cyber Liability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To service an existing customer base which will encompass policy renewals and mid term adjustments as well as handling general day-to-day queries, including associated administrative duties, customer invoicing and premium collection
  • Develop the customer base by identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Over time, develop your very own client portfolio and book of business that you will manage and develop day-to-day
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the claims team to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Participate in client meetings, contributing to the growth of the business
  • Gain hands-on experience across a wide range of insurance products

 

Requirements:

  • A proactive and ambitious individual eager to enhance their skills
  • While prior Commercial insurance experience is advantageous, candidates with expertise in Personal Lines/HNW will also be considered
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A valid driving license
