Our client, a well-established Insurance Brokerage that provides insurance cover for UK Performance and Media clients is currently seeking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to operate within their schemes capability for Commercial policy lines. Reporting into their Croydon offices this role is being offered on a hybrid home working basis with a requirement of 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home.
Key Tasks:
Work as part of a close knit, friendly team to ensure a 1st class insurance broking service is provided to customers
Handle incoming inquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties promptly and professionally
Working on renewal retention, new business and MTAs
Using various in-house binders to underwrite/rate policies yourself after an initial training period
Handle incoming inquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties promptly and professionally
Managing Combined Package policies with mostly liability covers
Review customer demands and needs and advise on the most appropriate insurances to meet them.
Analyse risks and present them to insurers and underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at favourable rates
Experience:
Experience of commercial broking as a preference, however candidates from a personal lines broking background maybe considered
Ideally experience of working with delegated authority, however open markets is fine
