Job: Placement Facility Manager

Salary: £80,000-£90,000 (depending on experience)

Location: London / Hybrid

Our client who are one of the top 5 global Insurance Brokers are now looking for a Placement Facility Manager to join their team in London. This business are placing around £16bn into the London market, £2.3bn of that is facilities business, with about 450 facilities.

You will play a pivotal role in the implementation and innovation of the product and facility strategy. This is a varied role, described as prestigious and involves managing the strategy, MI analysis, internal and insurer stakeholder relationships and an operational element. Working directly in a team of 2 in the facilities placement team, with a wider team of 50 who are responsible for collating the data in which you will be managing. A newly created role due to an internal promotion. It may include some level of management responsibility. Also a side project which will involve moving facilities from traditional placement platforms to digital placement platforms like Whitespace and PPL; to improve efficiency and be able to capture more data.

Some of the roles responsibilities:

• Delivering Management Information to Placement Leaders and Facility Owners in each segment, in order to monitor performance of facilities and identify opportunities
• Supporting creation of new facilities and expansion of existing solutions by delivering enhanced marketing material based on analytics and insights that fully leverage the data set available on Marsh UKI Placement portfolio
• Working with experts in each Client Segment and Specialty Practice to undertake gap analysis to scope new facility/product development opportunities across class of business and client profile (particular focus on low premium-high volume segments)
• Monitoring external trends assessing opportunities to expand the value proposition of Marsh Products and Facilities

To be considered for the role you must possess the following:

• Strong Insurance knowledge and sound commercial understanding of the business
• Experience as a product or facility manager working for a major broker or insurer
• Strong understanding of operations and systems supporting facility trading
• Project management skills
