Specialty Claims Adjuster – M&A, W&I, Political Risks

An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen with my client who are a highly regarded legacy insurance business. Due to their ever expanding business and organic growth, they are looking for an experienced claims adjuster to join their specialty claims team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Warranty and Indemnity, Mergers and Acquisition and/or Political and Credit Risk claims with a proven track record of handling claims from cradle to grave.

Some key responsibilities and competencies can be found below:

• Promptly agree valid claims and reject invalid claims
• Raise all appropriate queries where further information is required
• Adjust quantum of covered claims and ensure accurate reserves are recorded
• Negotiate and resolve disputed claims
• Liaising with Co-insurers as required and manage and enhance relationships with internal and external lawyers and adjusters
• Maintain knowledge of market issues
• Comply with all internal controls and procedures
• Hybrid home working – 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
