Commercial Insurance Producer

Our client, a privately held, independent insurance agency with over 100 years of history, is looking to appoint experienced Commercial P&C Producers across their Massachusetts offices as part of their growth initiative between now and 2029.

With access to more than 70 direct insurance markets, a dedicated marketing department and experienced servicing teams, the agency offers a strong platform for Producers looking to develop their book. You’ll have the freedom to pursue business around your expertise and relationships, supported by an engaged leadership team that actively shares introductions and helps to open doors.

The agency has particular strengths in real estate, manufacturing, industrial, transportation and technology startups, so Producers with expertise in these sectors are encouraged to apply, as are generalists working across a broader range of commercial industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial P&C business through prospecting, networking and referrals
• Build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
• Work with the marketing team to secure appropriate coverage and competitive terms
• Develop your book in line with your strengths, industry knowledge and target markets

• Experience in producing commercial P&C business
• A proactive approach to winning business and building relationships
• The ambition to grow a book within an independent agency
• An existing book or niche expertise would be welcomed, although ambition and growth potential are equally valued
