Commercial Lines (P&C) Manager

Our client, a leading national insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Manager to join their leadership team in a highly visible role. Working closely with the senior leadership team and fellow commercial lines managers, you will play a key role in driving operational improvements, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to the continued growth of the organization.

This opportunity offers a unique blend of leadership and client management responsibilities, overseeing a team of service professionals while managing a mid-market commercial lines portfolio across industries, including real estate, construction, hospitality, financial institutions, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and shape a commercial lines service team, driving performance while coaching, developing and creating progression opportunities for its people
• Remain closely connected to the market by managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, overseeing client service, renewals, and account strategy
• Partner with senior leadership to identify and implement operational improvements across the business
• Conduct one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching to support team development and agency performance
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional products and services
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client retention and growth

What We’re Looking For

• 7-10+ years of commercial lines agency experience
• 5+ years of management experience within a commercial lines environment
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop successful teams
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing middle-market commercial lines accounts across multiple industries
• A passion for mentoring talent and driving team performance
